  • We work alongside expert environmentalists to prepare REFs (review of environmental factors) for development applications that we are responsible for the design and planning. Our broad background in natural and cultural landscapes, in soil landscapes, geology, historic significance of sites, in water planning and design, in engineering, architecture and landscape architecture provides solid foundation for undertaking this work. We understand the connections between all the varied specialists and can easily synthesise the key issues for sites and developments.

  • We have collaborated with many artists for key art installations and integrated art and heritage strategies for major tourist events (Floriade in Canberra 1997) and the South West Rail (Glenfield to Leppington) ,as well as other smaller projects. Our philosophy is to integrate art holistically with the landscape and urban design, rather than superimposing works of art in a landscape or space. Art enriches design and one could argue that our design is art. Integrating art with heritage is challenging and rewarding as is demonstrated in our South West Rail project- Edmondson Park and Leppington station.
