Key challenges:
To create a gateway structure for the shopping precinct of Lane Cove and harmoniously integrate the structure with the streetscape and bus interchange. Key aspect was to develop a structure that could be prefabricated to minimise traffic disruptions during erection. Considerations to future linkages between the bridge and the adjacent Lane Cove Council building.
